Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani of Cyprus (1922-2014) founded the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Sufi Order. He is listed in the top 50 of “The 500 Most Influential Muslims in the World”, a ground-breaking book published by Georgetown University.
